Introducing our team

Rajeev Chowdary (Head tutor)

I am a seasoned IT professional with 25 years of experience, but my true passion lies in teaching. I discovered my teaching skills in 8th grade, a realization that set me on a lifelong journey. Since then, teaching has become an integral part of who I am. Over the years, I have successfully enabled my prior students as well as my daughters to excel, and guided them to earn admission to selective schools such as Mac.Robertson Girls’ High School, Melbourne High School and also John Monash Science School (JMSS).

I am committed to help students unlock and cultivate their natural talents, particularly in mathematics. I aim to empower them to not only understand concepts but also apply them effectively. Through personalized guidance, I strive to help students boost their confidence and develop the skills they need to reach their fullest potential. With extensive knowledge in primary and secondary school maths my goal is to lay a strong foundation to pave the path to success for our students.

Dimple Kothuru (Workshop tutor)

I was a 2023 John Monash Science School (JMSS) graduate that completed VCE with an ATAR of 94.75 percentile. Throughout my schooling, I was an active and passionate member of the community, taking on several leadership roles. Notably, I served as President of the 2023 JMSS Interact Club—the largest club at the school. In this role, I managed significant fundraising initiatives, organized large-scale events, collaborated closely with the principal team, and supported charitable causes. Beyond school leadership, I was also a member of the Melbourne Robocats, a highly regarded robotics team in Melbourne. With the Robocats, I had the privilege of competing at the 2024 FIRST Robotics World Championship in Houston, Texas, showcasing innovative engineering solutions on a global stage.

Currently, I am pursuing a double degree in Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce at Monash University. Alongside my studies, I volunteer as the Melbourne Secretary and Treasurer for a not-for-profit organization, where I manage budgeting and oversee the operational aspects for the Melbourne chapter.

One of my passions is inspiring young minds to embrace and excel in mathematics. I believe that with the right guidance, students can develop a genuine interest in the subject. During workshops, I aim to provide personalized support, helping students build confidence, solidify their understanding, and develop a deeper appreciation for mathematics.
